NEET PG 2018:

NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation) is conducted and organized by NBE (National Board of Examinations) for admissions to MD, MS, and PG Diploma Courses. NEET PG is accepted by all government, private and deemed medical colleges in India. NEET PG is a single Computer Based Test (online mode) for admissions to MD, MS and PG Diploma courses.

The NEET PG 2018 will be conducted on December 5 to 13, 2017. The application process will be conducted tentatively on 26th September to 31st October 2017. The candidate can apply through online mode.

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria:

The NEET PG applicants must be satisfying the following criteria:

  • The candidates must be passed MBBS degree or provisional pass certificate.
  • The candidates must have completed one year of compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March 2018.
  • Registration with MCI (Medical Council of India) or State Medical council is required.
  • The candidates must be Indian Citizen.

Note: The candidates who have passed MBBS degree from the state of J&K (Jammu & Kashmir), AP (Andhra Pradesh) and Telangana are not valid for All India Quota (AIQ) 50% Seats.

NEET PG Application Process:

The NEET PG 2018 application process will be started from September 26 to October 31, 2017 (tentatively). The candidates can apply through online mode. Following steps to help to apply for NEET PG:

  • Visit the official website - www.nbe.gov.in.
  • Enter the login details.
  • Fill-up the NEET PG application form, choose exam date and choose exam center.
  • Make online payment for application fee Rs. 3750/- for General & OBC and Rs. 2750/- for SC/ST/PWD category candidates via credit card/debit card or net banking.

NEET PG Exam Pattern:

NEET PG is an annually conducted qualifying cum ranking examination for admissions to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses. The NEET PG 2018 will be conducted on 5th to 13th December 2017. It is an online mode computer base test (CBT) having with 300 MCQs. The total duration of examination is 3:30 hours. The questions would be asked in English language only. There is no negative marking scheme for NEET PG exam.

The total 300 MCQs will be distributed in various subjects such as Anatomy (15), Physiology (15), Bio-chemistry (15), Pharmacology (20), Microbiology (20), Pathology (25), Forensic Medicine (10), Social and perspective Medicine (25), Medicine Dermatology (37), Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics & Anesthesia (46), Radio-diagnosis & Radiotherapy (12), Obstetrics and Gynecology (25), Pediatrics (15) Ophthalmology (10) and Psychiatry (10).

NEET PG Cut-off score:

The general candidates must have to secure 50% marks, SC/ST/OBC candidates have to secure 40% marks and PWD (PH) category candidates must be secured 40% marks in NEET PG to get admission in MD/MS/ PG Diploma courses. Available seats, a number of applicants applied and difficulty level of the exam are a major factor in determining the NEET PG Cut off score.

NEET PG Admit Card:

The NEET PG 2018 Admit Card will be available after completing registration & scheduling process. The candidates must possess admit card along with one identified documents such as Aadhar card, Voters' ID card, PAN Card, MCI/State Medical Council registration certificate and Passport. The candidates can download admit card entering their login detail on the official website of NEET PG. The Admit Card consist with name, address, Examination center & address, examination date & time, date of birth and instruction to be followed by candidates.

NEET PG Result 2018:

The NEET PG 2018 will be declared on January 13, 2018, through the official website. The qualifying marks for NEET PG 2018 such as 50% for General category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC category and 45% for PWD category candidates. The NEET PG result will be declared for those candidates who have secured qualifying marks. The qualified candidates can download result by visiting the official website - www.nbe.gov.in.

  • Visit the official website and click on NEET PG link.
  • Click on NEET PG result.
  • Enter login details such as confirmation number, testing ID and DOB (Date of Birth).
  • The result will be displayed and download it.
  • Save and Printout the result if necessary.

NEET PG Counselling 2018:

The NEET PG 2018 Counselling will be conducted by MCC (Medical counselling Committee) and DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services). The minimum qualifying marks obtained candidates will be eligible to participate in the online mode counselling process. The NEET PG 2018 counselling process will be conducted for providing admissions to 50% AIQ (All India Quota) seats.
