JEE Advanced 2017:

JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2017 is conducted by IIT Madras for admissions to B.Arch., B.S., Pharm., Integrated M.SC., Integrated M. Tech., Integrated Dual Degree Pharm., Dual Degree B.S. Plus M.S., and Dual Degree B. Tech. Plus M. Tech. courses. The 23 IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology), IISER (Indian Institute of Science Education and Research) and ISM Dhanbad accepting the JEE Advanced 2017. The JEE Main AIR (All India Ranks) holders are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced. The JEE Advanced registration process will be started from April 28, 2017 and will be closed on May 2, 2014. However, applicants can apply till May 04, 2017 by making extra payment for late fee.

The JEE Advanced Paper I and Paper II exam will be conducted on May 21, 2017. Both paper's examination will be held same day such as Paper-I (9 am to 12 PM) and Paper II (2 Pm to 5 Pm). The JEE Advanced 2017 results will be declared on June 11, 2017. There are only top 2.2 lakh JEE Main aspirants can sit for JEE Advanced.

  • JEE Advanced 2017 application released Date: April 28, 2017
  • JEE Advanced application ending date: May 2, 2017
  • Last date to pay application form with late fee: May 4, 2017
  • JEE Advanced Admit Card Available Date: May 10, 2017, to before examination
  • JEE Advanced 2017 Exam Date: May 21, 2017
  • JEE Advanced Exam Result date: June 11, 2017
  • JEE Advanced Counselling date: June 19 to July 18, 2017

JEE Advanced 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

The JEE Main All India Rank holders are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2017. The candidates are compulsory to appear on JEE Main exam before applying for JEE Advanced. The main criteria for JEE Advance are as following:

  • The candidates must be listed among top 2.2 lakh JEE Main 2017 holders.
  • The candidates must be passed +2 or equivalent examination for the first time in either 2016 or 2017 in all the subjects.
  • The general category candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1992, and reserved category candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1987.
  • The applicants have not taken admission in IITs or ISM before, otherwise, they won't be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2017
  • The candidates can attempt JEE Advanced examination maximum two times in consecutive years.

How to Apply for JEE Advanced 2017?

The JEE Advanced candidates can register their application by visiting the official website. The application process will be started from April 28, 2017, and ending on May 2, 2017. There are few steps to apply for JEE Advanced application form.

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2017 and enter the login details.
  • Fill-up the basic information and choice of language mode of the question paper and exam center.
  • Upload the scanned copies of Class X and Call XII marks Sheet, Class XII Passing Certificate, Date of birth Certification, signature, left thumb impression, colored passport size photogram and Category certificate if applicable
  • After uploading necessary documents, the candidates have to pay application fee Rs. 2000 for general category and Rs. 1000 for Female, SC, ST or PWD candidates.

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern:

The JEE Advanced is a national level engineering entrance exams including two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II. The candidates have to appear in both paper compulsorily. The JEE Advanced exam paper will be asked in English and Hindi languages. The JEE advanced exam comprises three sections in each paper such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). There will be asked 90 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and the total duration of the exam is 180 minutes (3 hours).

  • JEE Advanced exam comprises Paper I and Paper II having with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) sections for each paper.
  • The candidates must appear both papers compulsorily.
  • There will include 90 multiple choices and numerical answer type questions and have to complete in 3 hours.
  • Some par to question paper will be an application for negative marking.
  • Both papers will be asked in English and Hindi language mode.

JEE Advanced Admit Card:

The JEE Advanced 2017 admit card will be available from May 10, 2017, and last date to download admit card is May 21, 2017. The candidates can download the admit card from the official web portal of JEE Advanced. The candidates have to take few steps to download the JEE Advanced Admit Card as following:

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced 2017.
  • Candidates Enter the login details and click on Download Admit Card.
  • Candidates have to print out some copies of admit card.
  • The JEE Admit Card will be contained Name of Candidate, Roll number, Photograph, Date of Birth, Category of Candidate, candidate's signature, Address for Correspondences and Name & Address of the examination Center.

JEE Advanced Answer Key:

The JEE Advanced Answer Key Online display on June 4, 2017. The feedback and comments on answer keys from candidates will be ongoing on June 4, 2017, to June 6, 2017. Candidates can download JEE answer key by visiting the official website.

JEE Advanced 2017 Result:

JEE Advanced 2017 will be declared on June 11, 2017. The candidates of JEE Advanced 2017 can download their result by visiting the official website. After announcing the JEE Advanced 2017 result, the Category-wise All India Rank (AIR) of qualified candidates will be published on the official website. The candidates have to enter the login details and download the results. The candidates will not have sent the rank cards individually and there is no assurance admission to IIT or ISM.

JEE Advanced 2017 Counselling:

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) will conduct the counselling process of JEE Advanced from June 19 to July 18, 2017, for admissions to IIS Dhanbad and IIT's. The seat allotment will be decided after providing the seat matrix from the participating institutes.
