CUCET 2017

CUCET is known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test is held for admission to Undergraduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) Courses in the nine central universities in India. The CUCET 2017 application form will be started from March 14, 2014, and examination will be conducted during the month of May 2017.

It is a common entrance test for admissions to the various courses (UG and PG courses) in nine central universities of the country. Such universities are consisting of Central University of Tamil Nadu, Central University of Rajasthan, Central University of Punjab, Central University of Kerala, Central University of Karnataka, Central University of Jharkhand, Central University of Jammu, Central University of Haryana and Central University Kashmir.

Eligibility Criteria for CUCET 2017:

The CUCET eligibility criteria are different from other entrance exams. There are nine central universities participating in CUCET 2017 and all universities have their own CUCET eligibility criteria. The aspirants are not eligible to admissions just by appearing and qualifying the CUCET exam. Aspirants must accomplish the eligibility criteria laid down by the universities.

candidate must be confirmed by the criteria laid down by a respective central university. Because of the concerned university has reserved the right to take obligatory action including the rejection of the application in such situations or in conditions where false documents have been produced.

CUCET 2017 Important Date:

  • Application Form Release Date: March 14, 2017
  • Last date to fill Application Form: April 20, 2017
  • CUCET Admit Card Availability Date (Online): May 6, 2017
  • CUCET Exam Date: May 21-22, 2017
  • CUCET Results Declaration Date: June 17, 2017

CUCET 2017 Application Fees:

General category applicants have to pay fee Rs. 700 + Rs. 50 for Bank Commission and SC or ST category applicants should pay application fee Rs. 350 + Rs. 50 for Bank Commission.

How to apply for CUCET 2017:

The CUCET 2017 exam application form is available online mode. There are few steps to apply for CUCET 2017 as following:

  1. Candidate visit the official website cucet17.co.in
  2. and click on 'Apply' button.
  3. Choose any one level of the program (Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and research).
  4. Fill the personal detail about a name, date of birth, email address, password, and password.
  5. Aspirants will have received an email with email id and mobile number as registration confirmation.
  6. The candidate is obligatory to fill details i.e. personal details, academic details, or GATE score if applicable, Correspondence address, examination centers, and declaration.
  7. Upload Passport size color photograph and signature.
  8. Register for any 3 courses in the selected program from each university and edit the application before making payment of application fees, if it is necessary.
  9. Applicants make payment of fee via cash or online payment modes such as net banking, or debit card or credit card or make payment through E-challan.
  10. Lastly, get the dashboard for keeping tabs on payment status.

CUCET 2017 Exam Centers:

There are 57 exam centers allocated in different States for CUCET exam. However, the candidates have a choice to select any one while filling the CUCET Application Form. The assigned CUCET 2017 Exam Center will be stated on Admit Card. 

CUCET 2017 Admit Card:

The CUCET 2017 admit card will be available on online from May 06, 2017 and candidates can download by using registration No. and DOB (Date of Birth). The candidate can download admit card by visiting www.cucet17.co.in (Website will be activated after releasing application Form - March 14, 2017) and click on Admit Card download and enter application number and Date of Birth and click on Submit button.

CUCET 2017 Results:

The CUCET 2017 results will be declared on June 17, 2017. The aspirants can check their results by using applicator no and password on the official website of CUCET 2017. There is no any other medium to notify about results separately, therefore aspirant should login their account on the official website of CUCET and get results details. The successful candidates can print out the result for future purpose.
